Every contract you need, without the law firm
Answer a handful of questions — including the jurisdiction it has to hold up in — and the app drafts the whole contract, then rewrites any section you describe in plain words. Hand it one you were sent instead and it comes back with the clauses that put you at risk. Free for 3 documents a month, and the 136 templates and 8 PDF tools here need no signup at all.

§ 01Inside the app
A template gets you started. The app gets you finished.
Reading a template tells you what a contract usually says. The app tells you what yours should say — and what the one you were just sent is going to cost you.
AI Legal Document Generator
Pick a document type, answer the questions the document actually needs — parties, dates, amounts, scope — and the app writes a complete agreement around your answers. Not a fill-in-the-blank form: the clauses are composed for your situation.
- 136 document types. NDAs, leases, employment contracts, wills, powers of attorney, loan agreements, privacy policies, model releases and more — each with its own field set and clause structure.
- Jurisdiction is an input, not a guess. Governing law is a required field rather than a footnote, so the document is written for the place it has to work in instead of an unnamed default.
- Three lengths. The same document type at three levels of thoroughness, so a handshake deal and a six-figure contract do not get identical paperwork.
AI Contract Review — Know What You Are Signing
Most bad contract outcomes are not caused by fine print nobody could understand — they are caused by clauses nobody read. Upload the document and get a plain-English breakdown of what each clause does to you before you sign it.
- Clause-by-clause explanation. Every substantive clause explained in plain language — what it means, who it favors, and what it costs you if it is triggered.
- Read against your jurisdiction. You name the governing law before the review runs, so the findings are framed for where the contract actually operates rather than a generic default.
- Red flags surfaced. Unlimited liability, automatic renewal, one-sided termination, unusual indemnities and payment terms that quietly work against you.
Contract Risk Detection & Scoring
A single number will not tell you whether to sign. What helps is knowing which specific clauses create exposure, how severe each is, and which ones are worth spending negotiating capital on.
- Four risk dimensions. Financial exposure, legal liability, operational burden and compliance obligations — scored separately, because a contract can be financially safe and operationally impossible.
- Traceable findings. Every score is linked to the specific clause text that produced it. No unexplained verdicts.
- Severity ranking. Findings are ordered by how much damage they can actually do, so you start at the top rather than working through 40 notes in document order.
§ 02What it costs
Free to start. Pay only when you outgrow it.
Not a locked screen with a price tag on it. The app ships with a monthly allowance you never pay for, and it resets whether or not you ever subscribe.

§ 03Template library
136 templates. Read free, finish in the app.
120 of them are published in full text on this site — read the actual clauses before you use one. Open the same document in the app to fill it with your details and rewrite any clause you do not like.

§ 04Free document tools
Use the toolkit right here. Nothing is uploaded.
Sign, watermark, lock, merge and split PDFs in the browser — no download needed, on any device including Android. Every file is processed where it already is: no account, no queue, no watermark on the way out.
§ 05Why it stays private
Your contracts are nobody else's business
Legal documents contain salaries, addresses, settlement figures and family arrangements. That is exactly the kind of material that should not be sitting in a queue on someone else's server.
Web tools run locally
Every tool on this site processes your file inside the browser tab. No upload, no temporary server copy, no retention policy to trust.
Documents stay on your device
In the app, your documents and history live on your phone rather than in an account somewhere.
Never used for AI training
Content sent for AI review is processed to produce your result and is not used to train models.

Frequently asked questions
Is LegalDraft AI free?
Yes, to start. Every template and PDF tool on this website is free with no signup at all. The app is free to download and includes a monthly allowance you never pay for — 3 generated documents, 2 contract reviews, 2 risk analyses and 15 assistant messages, reset at the start of each month. Premium removes those caps and unlocks all 12 template categories, from $1.99 a week with a free trial.
What is the difference between this website and the app?
The website is the free half: fill in any of the 120 published templates in your browser and download the finished PDF or Word file, and run 8 PDF tools that never upload anything. The app is the half that reads documents — it drafts a contract around your answers, reviews one you have been sent clause by clause, scores it for risk and signs it. Nothing on this site is a trial of the app; it is free on its own terms.
Do I need to create an account?
No — not for the website and not for the app. There is no signup, no email wall and no watermark on anything you download. Your documents and history live on your own device, which is why there is nothing to log into.
Do the PDF tools upload my documents to a server?
No. Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your file is read from disk into the tab, processed there, and written back out. Nothing is transmitted — you can verify it in your browser devtools Network tab.
Is a contract made with AI legally binding?
A contract is binding when the parties agree on clear terms and intend to be bound; the drafting method does not change that. What matters is whether the document says the right things for your situation and jurisdiction. For high-value, cross-border or regulated matters, have a licensed attorney review the result.
What devices does the app run on?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 15.6 or later, Mac with an Apple silicon chip on macOS 12.5+, and Apple Vision Pro. The download is 76.1 MB. There is no Android or web version of the app — the free tools on this site work in any browser, including Android.
Can I use it outside the United States?
Yes. The templates are drafted to be jurisdiction-neutral and you set your own governing law as you generate. The app interface is available in 29 languages, and its AI tools read, explain and translate documents across 43.
How is this different from a free template site?
Most free template sites hand you a PDF of square brackets and an email form. Here the brackets are editable on the page: type your details in, download the finished document, and pay nothing. What the app adds is the part a template cannot do — composing clauses around your actual situation, flagging the ones that put you at risk, and signing and sending without leaving your phone.
Do the whole thing on your phone
Draft it, check it for risk, rewrite the clauses you do not like, sign it and send it — without opening a laptop.
