How it works
- 1
Add the contract
Upload a PDF, Word or text file up to 50,000 characters, paste the text straight in, or photograph a paper copy with the built-in scanner.
- 2
Set the jurisdiction
Laws vary, so the app asks where this applies before it reads anything — United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, India, or type your own state or country.
- 3
Pick a review depth
Quick for a fast sanity check, Standard for most contracts, Professional for a full clause-by-clause analysis.
- 4
Read the findings and act
Each clause explained in plain English with the risky ones flagged, then take the suggested wording into your negotiation or export the review as a PDF.
What you get
Clause-by-clause explanation
Every substantive clause explained in plain language — what it means, who it favors, and what it costs you if it is triggered.
Read against your jurisdiction
You name the governing law before the review runs, so the findings are framed for where the contract actually operates rather than a generic default.
Red flags surfaced
Unlimited liability, automatic renewal, one-sided termination, unusual indemnities and payment terms that quietly work against you.
Missing-protection check
What is not in the contract is often the bigger problem. The review notes standard protections your document leaves out.
Negotiation suggestions
Concrete alternative wording for the clauses worth pushing back on, so you have something to send rather than a vague objection.
Exportable report
Save the review as a PDF to forward to a partner, a client or your actual lawyer — arriving with specific questions costs less than arriving with the whole contract.
AI Contract Review FAQs
Does this replace a lawyer?
No, and it does not try to. It replaces reading a 30-page contract you would otherwise skim, and it makes any lawyer you do hire cheaper — you arrive with three specific questions instead of asking them to review the whole thing from scratch. For litigation, regulated industries or anything where a mistake is expensive, hire the lawyer.
What file types can I review?
PDF, DOCX and TXT, up to 50,000 characters. You can also paste text directly, or photograph a paper contract with the scanner and review the extracted text. Anything under 100 characters is too short to be worth reviewing and the app will say so.
Is my contract used to train AI models?
No. Documents are processed to produce your review and are not used for model training. Your documents stay on your device.
How accurate is it?
It reliably catches the structural issues that cause most real disputes — liability caps, renewal terms, termination rights, payment triggers. It is not a substitute for judgment on facts it cannot see, like whether the counterparty is good for the money.
