AI Contract Summarizer — A 30-Page Agreement in One Page

Most of a contract is machinery — definitions, boilerplate, severability. A summary is worth having only if it throws that away and keeps what changes your decision: what you have promised, what you are owed, when it ends, and how you get out.

How it works

  1. 1

    Load the document

Upload a PDF, Word or text file, paste the text, or pick something already in your history.

  2. 2

    Get the summary

Obligations, payment terms, key dates and termination rights pulled out of the boilerplate.

  3. 3

    Drill into anything

The summary lives in a conversation, so you can ask what a specific point means without starting over.

What you get

  • Structured, not shortened

Grouped by what it does to you — money, obligations, dates, exit — rather than a compressed version of the document in document order.

  • Keeps the conditions

A summary that drops "unless", "provided that" and every notice period is worse than no summary. Those survive.

  • Ask follow-ups

The summary opens as a thread. Question any line without re-uploading the contract.

  • Works on what you were sent

PDF, Word, plain text, or a paper contract photographed with the built-in scanner.

Contract Summarizer FAQs

How is this different from contract review?

A summary tells you what the contract says. A review tells you what is wrong with it — red flags, missing protections, clauses that favour the other side. Summarise to decide whether the deal is what you thought; review before you sign it.

Can I trust a summary of a contract I have not read?

Trust it to orient you, not to be your only reading. It is reliable on the structural facts — dates, amounts, notice periods, termination rights — and it is a good way to decide which three clauses deserve a careful read. It is not a substitute for reading the clauses you are about to be bound by.

How long can the document be?

Premium handles full-length agreements. On the free plan, review and analysis are limited to roughly the first 3,000 characters — enough to try it on a short letter or a single clause set.

Do the whole thing on your phone

Draft it, check it for risk, rewrite the clauses you do not like, sign it and send it — without opening a laptop.
