Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2026. These terms cover this website, its templates and its free tools. The iOS app is governed separately by its End User License Agreement.

This is not legal advice, and we are not your lawyer

LegalDraft AI is not a law firm. Nothing on this site creates a solicitor–client or attorney–client relationship. The templates are general-purpose starting points, not advice about your situation, and they may not suit your jurisdiction. For anything consequential, consult a licensed attorney.

1. Acceptance

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What this site is

This site provides legal document templates for reference and adaptation, and free browser-based utilities for working with PDF files. It is an information and software service. It is not a substitute for professional legal advice, and it does not review your circumstances.

3. Templates

You may use, copy, adapt and distribute the documents you create from our templates, for personal or commercial purposes, without attribution and without charge. You may not resell the template library itself, or republish it as a competing collection.

The templates are provided as-is. They are drafted to be jurisdiction-neutral, which means they will not reflect the specific statutory requirements of your country, state or province. You are responsible for checking that a document is appropriate, complete and lawful before you rely on it. Some documents — wills, property transfers, powers of attorney and similar — carry strict execution formalities, and a document that fails those formalities may be void regardless of what it says.

4. The free tools

The tools run entirely in your browser and are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Keep a copy of any original file before processing it. In particular, password protection cannot be reversed: if you forget a password you set with the Lock PDF tool, the document cannot be recovered by us or anyone else.

You agree not to use the tools on documents you have no right to process, and not to attempt to use them to circumvent protection on a document you do not own.

5. Electronic signatures

The signing tools produce an electronic signature applied to a PDF. In most jurisdictions an electronic signature is legally recognized for ordinary agreements, but certain documents — wills, some deeds, certain court filings — require wet ink, a witness or a notary. Determining which rules apply to your document is your responsibility.

6. No warranty

The site, templates and tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any template is suitable for your situation or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of this site, its templates or its tools. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. The app

The LegalDraft AI iOS app is licensed separately. See the End User License Agreement and Apple’s standard terms. Subscriptions are billed by Apple and managed in your Apple account settings.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
