Worth knowing
- Page size and orientation are preserved per file — a landscape exhibit stays landscape inside the bundle.
- Merging is how a contract and its exhibits become one signable document rather than four attachments.
- No cap on the number of files or total size: the work happens on your machine, so the only limit is your own memory.
Your file never leaves this tab
The tool runs entirely in your browser. There is no upload, no server-side copy and no retention policy to take on trust — open your devtools Network tab and watch: nothing goes out.
Merge PDF FAQs
Are my files uploaded?
Nothing is uploaded. The tool runs entirely inside your browser tab using WebAssembly and JavaScript — your file never crosses the network, so there is no server copy to leak, retain or subpoena. You can prove it: open your browser devtools, switch to the Network tab, and run the tool. No request goes out.
Is there a file size or page limit?
No artificial limit. Because merging runs locally, the practical ceiling is your device memory — several hundred megabytes is routine on a modern laptop or phone.
Will the merged file have a watermark?
No. The output is a clean PDF with nothing added — no branding, no trial stamp.
Does merging preserve bookmarks and form fields?
Page content, images and text are preserved exactly. Interactive form fields and bookmarks from the source files are not carried across — flatten forms before merging if you need the values kept.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not while they are locked. Open them with the password in a PDF reader, save an unprotected copy, merge, then re-protect the result with the Lock PDF tool.
If the document itself is the problem
The app merges documents from your history directly — no exporting to files first and hunting for them afterwards.
The app also drafts a contract from your answers and reviews one you were sent, clause by clause. It is free to download and free every month for 3 documents and 2 reviews — this tool stays free either way.
Do the whole thing on your phone
Draft it, check it for risk, rewrite the clauses you do not like, sign it and send it — without opening a laptop.
