1. This website

Documents and files. The free tools on this site — signing, watermarking, password protection, merging, splitting, image conversion — run entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your file is read from your device into the browser tab, processed there, and written back to your device. It is never uploaded. There is no server-side copy at any point, because there is no upload endpoint at all. You can verify this by opening your browser’s developer tools, switching to the Network tab, and running any tool.

The deadline tracker. Contracts you add are stored in your browser’s local storage on that device only. They are not transmitted, not backed up and not synced. If you clear site data they are gone, which is why the tool offers calendar export.

Accounts. There are none. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other identifier to use this site.

Hosting and logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records standard technical request data such as IP address, user agent and requested URL, for the purpose of serving pages and protecting against abuse. This is not linked to any document you process, because documents never reach a server.

2. The LegalDraft AI app

What is collected. Content you actively submit to an AI feature — documents you upload, scan or paste; clauses and text you type; messages to the AI assistant; and the details you enter when generating a document. This is collected only when you submit it to an AI feature. Usage counts are recorded to enforce free-tier limits and are stored on your device.

What stays on your device. Your document history, chat history and generated documents are stored locally. There is no account, and we do not collect your name or contacts.

Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment details.

AI processing

When you use an AI feature, the content you submitted is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our server and then to OpenAI, L.L.C. (United States), which processes it through its API to generate the result you requested. Only the content you submit is shared, and only to produce that result. OpenAI does not use content submitted through its API to train its models. The app asks for your explicit consent before any content is sent for the first time, and nothing is sent if you decline. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Content submitted for AI processing is not retained by us once the result has been returned to your device.

Bug reports and feedback

Sending a report is voluntary — nothing is transmitted unless you write a message and tap Send. A report includes your message, app version, device type, OS version, locale, subscription status and which screen you sent it from. When sent from a document screen, the form offers to include a copy of that document’s text so we can reproduce the problem; this is shown to you before sending and can be unticked, in which case we see only the document type. An email address is optional and used solely to reply. Reports are stored on our own server, are not sent to OpenAI or any other third party, and are kept while the issue is open and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us to delete a report at any time.

3. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, request correction or deletion of it, and withdraw consent at any time. Because the website holds nothing about you and app documents stay on your device, most requests concern feedback reports — contact us and we will action them.

4. Children’s privacy

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

5. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are published on this page with a revised date at the top.
