Pricing questions
Do I have to pay anything to use the app?
No. The app is free to download and comes with a monthly allowance you do not pay for: 3 generated documents, 2 contract reviews, 2 risk analyses, 10 plain-English explanations and 15 assistant messages. The allowance resets at the start of every month whether or not you ever subscribe.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no signup, no email and no password anywhere in the app or on this website. Your documents and history are stored on your device, which is also why there is nothing to log into.
Which plans are available?
Two: weekly at $1.99 and yearly at $19.99, which works out to about $1.67 a month — about 81% less than paying weekly for a year. Both are auto-renewing subscriptions billed through your Apple ID, and both can be cancelled from iPhone Settings at any time. There is no one-time or lifetime purchase.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — the app offers a free trial on the subscription when you first open the upgrade screen, and the exact trial length shows on the plan before you confirm. You are not charged until the trial ends, and cancelling before then costs nothing.
What actually changes when I subscribe?
Four things. The monthly caps disappear, so every AI tool becomes unlimited. All 12 template categories unlock instead of 5. The 5 Premium-only tools — Document Comparison, Clause Rewriter, Watermark PDF, Password Protect, Merge & Split — become available. And the depth settings unlock: free generates at Basic length (2–4 pages) and analyses at Quick depth on the first 3,000 characters, while Premium adds Professional and Comprehensive drafting, Standard and Deep analysis, and the full 50,000-character document.
How do I cancel?
On your iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → LegalDraft AI → Cancel. Because billing runs through Apple, cancellation is entirely in your control and never requires contacting us. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Are the templates and PDF tools on this website part of the subscription?
No — they are free and always will be, with no account and no limits. Every one of the 8 PDF tools runs inside your own browser, which costs us nothing to operate, and the templates are published in full text on the page. The subscription pays for the AI work in the app, which is the only part with a real per-use cost.
Can I use one subscription on my iPhone, iPad and Mac?
Yes. The subscription is attached to your Apple ID, so it covers every device signed in with it. Tap Restore on the upgrade screen if a second device does not pick it up straight away.
