8 free document tools that never see your files

Sign, watermark, lock, merge, split and convert — all running inside your browser tab. No account, no queue, no file-size cap, and no watermark stamped on the way out.

How this works

Local processing, not a free trial of a paid service

Most “free” PDF sites upload your document, process it on a server, and monetise the queue you wait in. These tools do the work where the file already is.

Your file stays put

The document is read from disk into the browser tab and never leaves it. No upload endpoint exists to leak, retain or hand over.

No waiting

There is no upload time, no server queue and no download step. On a typical contract the whole operation takes under a second.

No limits worth mentioning

No page caps, no daily quota, no size ceiling, no watermark. The only constraint is your own device memory.

Frequently asked questions

Are these PDF tools really free?

Yes — all of them, with no account, no page limits, no file-size cap and no watermark on the output. There is no paid tier of this toolkit, because it costs us nothing to run: the work happens on your computer, not on our servers.

Do you see my documents?

No. Each tool loads your file into the browser tab, works on it there using WebAssembly and JavaScript, and hands the result straight back to you. Nothing is transmitted, so there is no server-side copy at any point. Open your browser devtools, switch to the Network tab, and run any tool — you will see no request go out.

What is the maximum file size?

There is no imposed limit. Because processing is local, the ceiling is your own device memory — files of several hundred megabytes are routine on a modern laptop, and phones handle typical contracts without trouble.

Do they work offline?

Once a tool page has loaded, the processing itself needs no network. If your connection drops mid-task the tool keeps working.

Do they work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. Every tool is touch-first — signing with a finger on a phone usually produces a better signature than a mouse does.

Why give these away?

Because they are genuinely useful on their own, and because the people who need to watermark a draft or sign a contract are usually the same people who could use help writing one. If the tools save you time, the app is there when the document itself is the problem.

The tools are free. The hard part is the document.

Writing the contract, spotting the clause that costs you money, knowing what is missing — that is what the app is for.
